The Bank offers customized unique solutions such as conditional liquidity support financing, Results Based Financing for clients in the Water Sector Partial Security Guarantee cover for clients in the Renewable Energy Sector. The Bank facilitates FX SWAPs and other derivatives for clients in Oil & Gas to assist in liquidity management, Project Finance Syndications in conjunction with International Banks to finance major projects in the Energy Sector.

We initiate partnerships with various organizations who expediate Green Energy Finance, & WASH Sector Development by de-risking the access to finance for project development

Co-operative Bank pioneers financing of green energy projects. The bank not only focused on traditional renewable sources like solar & wind but also included mini hydro plants, biomass plants & Energy Efficiency programs. This has been achieved through coming up with innovative financial solutions/initiatives.

Coop Bank partnered with the Sunref Program together with Kenya Association of Manufacturers and Afd (the French Development Agency ) to finance manufacture of manufactures of off-grid solar solutions, energy efficiency programs and biomass waste to energy . Under the Sunref program the bank was able to issue loans for longer tenors at a discounted pricing allowing for ease of payment for the capital-intensive projects
