We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Analyst to join our Business Change Management (BCM) team. Reporting to the Head-Business Change Management, the role holder will work closely with the Business Units to continuously review the internal processes as well as analyze the changing needs of the current environment with a view of improving customer service, digitizing and automating manual processes and creating efficiency. The role will involve analysis of current processes, documenting To-Be Processes, coming up with the process solutions for the different Business Units within the Bank and implementation of the improved status.
The Role
Specifically, the successful jobholder will be required to:
- Work with Business Units to examine current systems and processes, propose changes and amendments to continuously ensure that the bank’s processes are efficient, minimizing costs, and minimize inherent risks
- Lead process improvement initiatives by leveraging on Business Process Digitization and Robotics Process Automation (RPA) technologies to redesign operational processes to improve process efficiency, accuracy and responsiveness of customer needs while minimizing exposure to risk.
- Serves as liaison between business teams and developers during process development for Business Process Digitization and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Opportunities/Use Cases
- Facilitate process innovation and business process re-engineering and/or improvement forums and methods to be deployed to support the increase in productivity, efficiency, cost management and revenues.
- Apply their knowledge of business process modeling notations (BPMN, EPC, BPEL) to document processes
- Develop qualitative and quantitative performance measurement applications to be signed-off in agreements by Senior Management Level (SML) business managers and transform them into a matrix of performance measurement.
- Proactively analyze the regulatory (KBA & CBK) requirements and directives to identify the requisite changes to be applied to the Bank’s platform and the resultant impact as well as develop an implementation proposal/plan.
- Research and perform competitive analysis in the market on best practice/best solutions/innovation
- Drive Organizational Change Management focusing on the People side of change to ensure there is adequate awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, adoption and utilization of processes for benefit realization through stakeholder interactions, training and frequent communication.
Skills, Competencies and Experience
The successful candidate will be required to have the following skills and competencies:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and/or Business-related fields from a recognized university.
- At least 2 years of experience in any key Robotic Process Automation solution preferably in a financial services ecosystem; the solutions are Blue Prism, Power Automate, UiPath, and Automation Anywhere.
- Certification in Blue Prism, Power Automate, UiPath or Automation Anywhere is desired.
- Professional Qualification in Business Analysis and Project Management: – CBAP/CCBA, CBPP, PMI-PBA, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, Prince2, PMP, ITSM is a plus
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex information with accuracy and attention to detail.
