Security Tips
  1. Always keep your log-in credentials (Username, Password and OTP) confidential; do not share them with anybody.
  2. Passwords expire after 30 days. However, if you feel your password is compromised, change it immediately.
  3. Protect all your data and accounts with strong passwords that have at least eight or more characters consisting of alphabets and numbers and change them regularly.
  4. Never leave your session unattended and always log off your online session after use.
  5. Update us when you change your contact particulars.
  6. Check your last log-in and notify us if there are any dubious log-ins.
  7. Never store your passwords on your phone.
  8. Check your account balance and transaction history regularly.
  9. To further safeguard your transactions, the One Time Password (OTP) is an application that generates a password for the 2nd Factor Authentication (2FA). It acts like a hardware token except that there is no physical device. Therefore, have your phone near you when initiating log-in and if using a hard token, keep it safe.
  10. Customers can be assured that it is safe and secure to bank thorough Co-opNet (Internet Banking). Co-op Bank is constantly enhancing and upgrading our system for the highest level of encryption available today to ensure that your account information and transactions are kept secure and confidential.
